You can perform the following checks:
- Check that you’ve already changed the SEO Meta Title & Description
- Make sure that the schema settings are valid
- Check the description on the view page source
- Check when Google’s cache was last updated for the page
However, even if you have perfectly set your Meta titles using Rank Math, it is not guaranteed that they will be picked up by the search engines. Here are the most common reasons Google might not use the meta description:
- The meta description is not relevant or useful (ie, just a collection of keywords).
- The exact same meta description is provided across a large number of pages.
- The meta description doesn’t match what the user is searching for, but other content on the page does.
