Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the persistent notification in your WordPress backend. This message appears when Rank Math detects a new post type, and it serves as a reminder to configure the SEO settings for that post type.
To dismiss this notification, you can try the following steps:
- Dismiss the Notice: Click the close button on the right side of the notification. If it doesn’t disappear after that, proceed to the next steps.
- Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, clearing your browser cache can help resolve such issues.
- Remove Transients: Since you’ve already done this, ensure you navigate to Rank Math SEO → Status & Tools → Database Tools and click on Remove Transients again to ensure all transients are cleared.
- Check Titles & Meta Settings: Go to the Titles & Meta settings for the new post type by clicking on the notification itself. Make sure to configure the necessary settings there.
- Sitemap Settings: Similarly, check the Sitemap settings for this post type under Rank Math SEO → Sitemap Settings to ensure everything is set correctly.
If you have followed these steps and the notification still persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further.
Thank you for raising this concern! We’re here to help you resolve it.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.
The notice is simply a reminder for you to configure your SEO settings for these post types. If you forget to configure them, you might end up indexing a page on the search engine that shouldn’t be or end up with an irrelevant SEO title and meta description — which can most probably affect your search rankings.
Here’s our guide you can follow for that:

If clearing the caches doesn’t help, you can also try to clear the notifications directly from the database by setting the rank_math_notifications
option in the WordPress options table to be a:0:{}
.
Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.
