Console – sitemaps – how to proceed so a direct google search shows more?

    Rank Math free

I’ve submitted sitemaps for both https://www.MYDOMAIN…. and https://MYDOMAIN….
Coverage shows only 1 is valid (MYDOMAIN.com.au), and 25 urls “excluded”.

On most of the posts/pages it is saying “Discovered – currently not indexed”.

I don’t know how to proceed as it seems google simply isn’t showing my pages.
    1) Do I just need to wait and hope google crawls my pages?
    2) If there is some fundamental thing I’ve done wrong, I’d like to fix it before google crawls again.
    3) It is possible the quality of content simply is not there?

    Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

First of all, you should try to use just one format of your website domain. I mean, or https://domain.com or https://www.domain.com but not both. Also, you only have to add the sitemap_index.xml, not any other sitemap since Google will find them using the sitemap_index.xml (and it is important because Rank Math modifies automatically your sitemaps dividing them in smaller sitemaps to improve performance (it could be the cause some posts are not found)).

About the posts not being indexed, if you could add to the Sensitive Data some URLs, we could check why those posts are not indexed.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
