Connection issue after update

#23548
  • I updated to the latest version and got this message.

As part of the update process, you need to re-connect your site with your Rank Math account: Connect Now

I clicked connect now and logged in, it said something like “there was an error, please contact us”

Then I went to the plugin settings page and clicked the button there, this time it said I was logged in and asked if I would like to activate the site that was listed on the page. I said yes, but the message about needing to connect is still at the top of the page.

  • Something similar to me. I connected back like it asked…seemed to work but now the plugin still there but I no longer have the rankmath box (in the backend) on my pages and posts to define my keywords and tell me what I need to improve.

I used WP Rollback, I went back to the previous version of the plugin and now it works fine again.

Same problem here! Rank math useless on site now.

Rank Math do not work with the WP update:(

I was using RM on the WP ver two levels old – and it worked fine. ONLY when I updated RM did it vanish. I then updated WP to current version, but RM still is gone. I wanted the unlimited keywords feature. Thanks RM! Good testing!!!

    Thanks Ranaud!

I installed WP Rollback plugin and didn’t think it would work because it was not there to keep a log of my prior versions of plugins. BUT it worked great. I rolled back to ver. 1.0.35.3 and everything is there and working again. Great plugin!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to the update.

A v1.0.36.1 update was released immediately after v1.0.36 to address the persistent account connection nag. This should now be resolved.
Could you please test out this version and let us know if this problem is still experienced?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

Same to me. I cant connect my website on RM and AMP plugin doesnt work too.

    Hello Paulo,

    That’s quite odd.

Kindly confirm, which of the plugin are you using? Does this persist with the latest version?

Hope to hear from you soon.

Hello Michael, Thank you for the answer. Looking at the previous comments, I tried to use a trick that worked. I downloaded a release prior to the last update and the plugin worked. I think the problem is in the last update, which is not meeting the commands for which it was written.

    Hello @paulosergioribeiro

Thanks for getting in touch with us today.

This problem should now be resolved in the latest update. Could you please clear your site cache and check again?

Let me know how this goes. Thank you.
