I thought I was connected to GC, but I went in and saw I didn’t have the metatag pasted in. I was trying to get that from GC and couldn’t find that, maybe because I’m already verified in GC… anyways, when I tried to reconnect on RankMath on my WordPress dashboard, now it does not give me the option to “enable the index status tab” under General Settings-Analytics. I would like to make sure I’m correctly connected to Google Console.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this issue might have caused.

Please make sure that you’ve not connected to your Google Search Console account with Rank Math via a domain property (sc-domain:yourdomain.com) but rather a URL prefix. Because we don’t support domain property and Index Status doesn’t work with it.

If you’re using domain property, please reconnect your Google account from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and connect the URL-prefix property. After that, please try to enable the Index Status tab again.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to assisting you further.

    Thank you.

that worked! But now, I can’t connect GA. Under the analytics section and the account drop down, it doesn’t have any results found, so I can’t connect. Please help!

    Hello,

Please ensure you have signed up for Google Analytics on the Google account you connected to Rank Math. You can also sign up for Google Analytics here.

Looking forward to helping you resolve this issue.
