Connecting the Schemas

    Rank Math free

    Hi,

My company is interested in buying Rank Math, but I need info before making a final decision.

Our main site has many service pages and we’ll have many more. On those pages, we want to have the WebPage schema and AutoRental schema, which are connected with a proper ID put as isPartOf (so that AutoRental is part of WebPage).

I see that it is possible to add manually for each page, but I’m unable to find info about whether that can be programmatically done for our service pages simultaneously. Updating the schemas one by one is not a viable option because of quantity. Also, we have other pages, so we don’t want a sitewide solution, but just a solution for a group of specific pages.

Thank you in advance for your response!

    Sincerely,
    Stefan

  • Hello,

Thank you for considering Rank Math for your company. To connect the WebPage schema with the AutoRental schema using the proper ID as isPartOf for your service pages, you can achieve this programmatically for a group of specific pages.

While Rank Math allows you to manually add schemas to each page, for your scenario with a large number of service pages, a programmatic solution is more efficient. Unfortunately, Rank Math does not provide a built-in feature to update schemas for multiple pages simultaneously.

However, you can explore custom development options or plugins that allow bulk schema updates in WordPress. By customizing the schema implementation for your specific needs, you can efficiently connect the WebPage and AutoRental schemas with the proper ID for your service pages.

If you need further assistance or have any more questions, feel free to ask.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the response.

Are the schemas generated by Rank Math in the head section of a page’s code? I’m not sure whether another plugin can make changes to your schemas like that. We had Yoast, and we couldn’t connect their schemas with plugins and theme files.

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out and considering Rank Math for your company’s SEO needs. Kindly disregard the bot’s reply here.

We are happy to inform you that Rank Math PRO offers a powerful Schema Template feature that can help you automate the process of adding and connecting schemas for specific pages.

With Rank Math PRO, you can create custom Schema templates and apply them to a group of pages based on certain conditions.

Please refer to this article to learn how to use the Schema Templates feature in Rank Math PRO: https://rankmath.com/kb/schema-templates/

Rank Math adds the WebPage Schema by default to your pages if there’s any dedicated schema type added to a certain page or post even in the free version.

However, if you wish to override/replace that, you can use the schema templates, create a custom WebPage schema and insert it to the default WebPage as your starting schema:

Then, in the Display Condition, you can assign the created schema to the specific page or sitewide. https://rankmath.com/kb/schema-templates/#extending-schema

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need my assistance with anything else.
