    Hello,

    I received an email telling me that their appears to be a problem with the connection of my Google Analytics data to the Rank Math plugin on my WordPress site.
    I can see data for the site if I look at it through my Google Analytics account, so data is being generated, but it doesn’t appear to be getting sent to the plugin.
    I have examined the header section of my site and the Google tag appears there, also the Google site verification code appears as well.

    Looking at the Rank Math log, I can see numerous repeating warnings:

    [23-Mar-2022 10:59:54 UTC] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in /home/ubmfhrtj/public_html/valuecbd.co.uk/wp-content/plugins/uncode-privacy/includes/class-uncode-toolkit-privacy-public.php on line 342

    When I go to the Rank Math/General Settings/Analytics I see that I have a green light on the search Console section, but not on the Analytics section. I have entered my data in the dropdown boxes as follows:
    Account: “Value CBD”
    Property: “Value CBD UK”
    View: “All Website Data”

    However, when I hit “save”, the boxes are blank, as if the data will not stick.
    What am I doing wrong?

    Oh yes, I forgot to mention that when entering my data in Analytics section, I do NOT tick the “Install Analytics Code” because my WordPress theme (Uncode) has a section in the theme settings for adding tracking code data, so I manually added it there.

    thanks for your reply.

    I did as you suggested and the settings have now taken in the Analytics section. The green light is on and my selected options remain visible in the drop-down menus. Should those settings remain in place now, even if I use a different browser to access the site (Firefox, etc)?

    Hello,

    Yes, once the analytics settings are completely configured. The Account, Property, and the View should be visible in the selector field and the field should be disabled as well.

    Thanks for your help.
    After I had completed these steps, i received another email telling me that the data wasn’t getting through. However, am i right in saying it only gets collected once in 24 hours? Maybe the attempt was made to collect the data BEFORE I made the changes?

    Hello,

    In the free version, our plugin only fetches the data from your GSC account. The Analytics settings are there to help you install the analytics code to your site. We don’t pull any data from your Analytics account in the Free version.

    Can you please share the content of the email that you are receiving regarding the analytics issue?

    Please check if there is a pending Scheduled Action, go to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending:
    https://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/tools?page=action-scheduler&status=pending

    Run the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch scheduled action and wait for the data fetch to complete.

    Once the data is fetched in the Rank Math Analytics, the data will be populated in the next Email Report.

    Hi there,

    there are “rank_math/analytics/sync_sitemaps” entries and they are showing as “complete”. So I assume that it’s working properly now?

    The action to fetch the data from Google is rank_math/analytics/data_fetch, if it is not present in the pending tab, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    I tried fetching the data but it is not getting fetched.

    Please share a screenshot of the last 30 days of Organic Traffic from your Google Search Console.

    Also, please reconnect the Google account, to regenerate the auth token from Google, by going to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Analytics and configure the Search Console and Analytics settings:
    reconnect

    Once done, report back so we can continue debugging the situation.

    Hello,

    should I regenerate the authorization using Google Chrome in incognito mode, as was previously recommended? That was the only way it would work for me.

    I have only been using Google Search Console for the same time as I’ve been using the Rank Math SEO plugin, which is about a week, so i don’t have 30 days of data.

    I have uploaded an image of what does exist in the Sensitive Data area.

    Hello,

    I checked ‘Pending’ tab in your scheduled actions and the rank_math/analytics/data_fetch is there and scheduled to run about 6 days from now. Data fetches run once a week (or once every 3 days for Rank Math PRO). The screenshot you shared shows that Google Search Console (GSC) is connected and collecting data. In the mean time you can visit GSC to monitor your search data.

    By the time the automatic data fetch runs, GSC should have sufficient data for Rank Math to pull and display on your website.
