Connect 2 separate Domains with 2 separate Google Properties

    Hello RankMath Team,

    i use Polylang Pro and RankMath with 2 separate Domains:

    1. sim-racing-gloves.com (EN)
    2. sim-racing-handschuhe.de (DE)

    I allready used your guide to make RankMath compatible with Polylang. Both php files are existing in theme folder (and child theme folder as well).

    My question is about auth/connection with Google Analytics and Google Search Console:

    How can i connect each domain to the Google Properties which fits the Domain?

    – In RankMath General Settings / Webmaster Tools: For example i enter the ID from the Search Console Property with DE Domain. When i switch language in Backend (for example to EN) and insert the ID from the Search Console Property with EN Domain, it overwrites the DE ID. Even when i switch the Backend URL from DE to EN, there is no option to enter both IDs separately for each Domain.

    – In RankMath General Settings / Analytics is the same while connecting to the properties of Search Console and Analytics. When i connect both of them to the DE Domain and then switch Language to EN, all inputs für EN Domain overwrites the DE inputs.

    I noticed this problem for more options as well, for example General Settings / Links, when enter the “Redirect Orphan Attachments”. Its only possible to make 1 entry für both Domains.

    I would be very thankfull if you have any tips or hints to solve this problem.

    Hello,

    Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

    To manage the settings on Rank Math, please note that Rank Math currently does not support saving different settings for each language version directly within the same backend. However, you can achieve this by using the Multisite setup in WordPress or creating separate installations for each domain. This will allow you to manage distinct settings for each domain without them overriding one another.

    Please also you’ll have to install the plugin on the network but only activate it on specific subsites so make sure to deactivate it on the network and then activate it on the subsites.
