Confused on Site Title

    When I google my site the site name and title appear as they should but when I am in the Rank Math plugin and choose %title% it brings up “JS Help Desk”. This is a page and plugin I use for support but it should not show anywhere except for the JS Help Desk page. I don’t understand why this comes up this way.

    By the way, I really like your plugin and will probably be changing to it on all of my other sites.

    In fact, that is really weird and we should take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hi Julian,

    When you are using the %title% variable at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Pages, we pull the title of your latest page and use that for the preview.

    It is for preview only and on individual pages, their respective titles will be used.

    Thank you for clarifying. Although I understand it still seems a little confusing to see something that should not be an overall title. I am watching a YouTube video by Darrel Wilson, Rank Math SEO Plugin Setup and his title always comes up as the title he created. The video may be a one page site tutorial. Plus, he seems to be using an older version which refers to rich snippets. Not sure if there is a better video, just one of the first I came across.
