Conflict between Rank Math and Judge.me causing “Multiple Aggregated Ratings”

#998373
  • Dear Rank Math Support,

I am writing to request assistance with an ongoing issue on my WooCommerce website. Google Search Console is reporting the error “Multiple Aggregated Ratings” for my product pages. This issue is negatively impacting my site’s search result display.

The support team at Judge.me has identified that the problem is most likely due to a conflict between Rank Math and Judge.me regarding the generation of review schema markup. While Judge.me is responsible for managing and generating review schema, Rank Math is also generating review snippets, which causes a conflict and results in Google detecting multiple aggregated ratings. Judge.me Support provided the following link to the Rich Results Test showing this problem: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results/result/r%2Freview-snippet?id=yxcoPGareQ4eMThciEyq6w

I kindly request your guidance on how to completely disable or prevent Rank Math from generating any review schema markup (or aggregate rating schema) to avoid this conflict. I need to ensure that only Judge.me is generating this markup.

    My setup is:

    Rank Math version: 1.0.241
    Theme: Woodmart
Other relevant plugins: WooCommerce, Judge.me, and any other plugins that impact structured data or WooCommerce product display.
Could you please provide detailed instructions on the necessary steps to achieve this, including:

Specific settings within Rank Math to disable review schema.
Any relevant documentation or code examples if necessary.
I appreciate your prompt assistance in resolving this conflict. Thank you.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the "Multiple Aggregated Ratings" error on your WooCommerce website. Thank you for providing detailed information about your setup and the conflict between Rank Math and Judge.me.

To prevent Rank Math from generating any review schema markup, you can follow these steps:

    1. Disable Review Schema in Rank Math:

      • Go to your WordPress dashboard.
      • Navigate to Rank Math > Titles & Meta.
      • Click on the Products tab.
      • Scroll down to find the option for Schema Type.
      • Set the Schema Type to None or disable the review schema options if available.
    2. Remove Snippet Data from Product Categories:

      • Still in the Titles & Meta section, navigate to Product Categories.
      • Enable the Remove Snippet Data option.
      • Click Save Changes.
    3. Clear Cache:

      • After making these changes, ensure you clear your website cache to see the updates reflected.

By following these steps, Rank Math should no longer generate conflicting review schema markup, allowing Judge.me to manage it exclusively.

For further details, you can refer to our documentation on Schema Markup and WooCommerce Product Schema.
