Conflict adding links after Yoast to RM migration

I’ve run into a conflict after migrating from Yoast to RM.
    Here’s the website: https://wayfaringviews.com/
It’s running on Mediavine’s Trellis platform.

When I try to insert a link into a new or existing post, I get an error message stating “this block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”. The block get restored if I refresh the page, but I can’t insert any links.

I’ve isolated this to Rank Math because I re-installed a previous back-up and then migrated again and the same issue occured. If I turn off RankMath, the issue goes away. I systematically deactivated all of my other plug-ins and the issue kept occurring.

I also turned off all of the link options in “general settings” for RankMath and that didn’t help either.

Hoping that you have a suggestion.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thank you for providing the login details.

I was able to replicate the issue here and I tried conducting a troubleshooting mode by following this guide but the issue persists even with only Rank Math installed and the default theme is enabled.

Could you please create a staging website for us? Should allow us to further check the issue without breaking your live website.

Here is a guide that could be really useful for you on how to create a staging site: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

The staging site is live- info in the secure box. My theme provider was also able to replicate the error and they saw that it was throwing a java script error. I’ve put a link to that in the box as well.

I saw that you have an updated plug-in. I updated it but am still seeing the error.

I also noticed that my Cloudflare caching is now disabled. Did you do that? I have since turned it back on.

    Hello,

I have just tried to login to the staging site you created but it seems like the credentials you provided are not working. Could you kindly update them and test them so that we can deeply dive into this issue.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

One set of log-ins was for viewing the live staging site, which will then prompt you for the admin log in. I’ve created a fresh set of admin logins for you in the secure box.

I’ve just tested it and it seems to be working so you should be good to go.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back. Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

You were using an old version of WordPress on your site. I have updated WordPress to the latest version that has resolved the issue with the link insertion. You can check it on your staging site. Please update the WordPress version on your main site to resolve the issue.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance.

Thanks. the update fixed the issue

    Thank you.
