Conclict between RankMath’s ToC block and ToC plugin?

    Hi there,

just to make sure: I would like to use the RankMath ToC block to include a table of contents in blog entries.

I am using the “LuckyWP Table of Contents” plugin, however, at the time being, to display my table of contents in a (sticky) sidebar widget.

Since RankMath and possibly my ToC-plugin work with anchor links: Will there be a conflict when using both plugins at the same time (RankMath within the blog entry, “LuckyWP ToC” for the sidebar)?

    Looking forwards to your reply!

    Kind regards,

    Utz Klöppelt

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

LuckyWP Table of Contents in one of the fully compatible TOC plugin with Rank Math. Thus, that shouldn’t cause any conflict even if you use both TOC block by Rank Math and the LuckyWP Table of Contents plugin.

    Hope that clarifies your doubt.

    Thank you.

Thanks a lot for your reply!

Somehow, however, I cannot find the RankMath Table of Contents block in my wordpress list of blocks. The free version of RankMath is properly installed and I also use the latest version of the plugin.

The LuckyWP Table of Contents block can be found in the block list, but not the one by RankMath.

Did I miss a simple setting somewhere?

    Hello,

Can you please confirm if you’ve Schema (Structured Data) module enabled on your site? If not, please enable that module from Rank Math > Dashboard and try again to see if Table of Contents block by Rank Math is available to the block editor of your site.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

That’s it! I did not activate that since I also use Schema Pro.

Would it cause an issue if I enabled Schema (Structured Data) on RankMath and still use Schema Pro. Or should I rather get rid if Schema Pro all along? 😉 …

    Hello,

We have tested Schema Pro, and we can confirm that this causes conflict with Rank Math. So, in this case I can suggest you to get rid of Schema Pro in order to use the Schema module of Rank Math.

Here is a list of every plugin that we tested and found to be incompatible:

Hope that helps, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.
