Compatibility between ACF Blocks and RankMath

#998699
  • Hello Support,

I’m currently developing a website using ACF Blocks (Advanced Custom Fields), and I’m considering integrating RankMath as the SEO plugin.

Is RankMath fully compatible with ACF Blocks, or do I need to configure anything to ensure that content from the blocks is correctly detected and included in the SEO analysis?

Thanks in advance for the information!

    Best regards,
    Pieter

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing. Rank Math is indeed compatible with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), including ACF Blocks. To ensure that content from your ACF Blocks is correctly detected and included in the SEO analysis, you will need to enable the ACF module in Rank Math.

Here are the steps to configure it:

    1. Install and Activate Advanced Custom Fields: Make sure you have the ACF plugin installed and activated on your WordPress site.
      Install ACF Plugin

    2. Enable the ACF Module in Rank Math: Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Dashboard and enable the ACF module.
      Enable ACF Module

    3. Create Custom Fields: If you haven’t already, create custom fields using ACF that you want to use in your blocks.
      Add new custom field

Once these steps are completed, Rank Math will be able to analyze the content from your ACF Blocks for SEO purposes.

    Hello support,

I’ve noticed that the word count in the editor only works correctly when all ACF Blocks are opened in “Edit Mode.” Is there a way to make sure the word count is always accurate, even when the ACF Blocks are in preview mode?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best regards,
    Pieter

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math support.

Please ensure that you have turned on the ACF module to ensure that Rank Math is reading your ACF properly. You can check that in Rank Math > Dashboard > Modules.

If that doesn’t work, please head over to the post type you are working on Rank Math > Titles & Meta, and insert the custom fields you have created in the “Custom Fields” options:
