i have a favicon but dosnt seem like google is seeing it properly

as you can see from this screen shot, google sees a logo but its the wrong one, i even deleted this image from my database yet google wont look at the new one and even wont show the one it sees in the search results

That is not the favicon, that is the Schema logo.
You can change that from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Local SEO.
Let us know if that works. Make sure to clear the cache first.
I’m also facing the same issue. I had my logo previously shown on Google. However, nowadays it doesn’t show it there. I’ve my logo in the section you say to add.
How can we make Google check/crawl our logo again?

After checking the website, it seems your image is 32x32px, when Google wants a 48x48px image (or any multiple of that). You can get more details here: https://business.trustedshops.co.uk/blog/favicons-google-search-results
