    Hello,

I have 3+ websites all showing the same issue. I have set a custom Meta Description in Titles & Meta>Homepage along with on the SEO settings in the page editor. No matter what I do every time I search in google the meta description is appearing with some page builder code such as: av_section min_height=’50’ min_height_px=’500px’ padding=’default’ shadow=’no-border-styling’ bottom_border=’no-border-styling’ …

Can you help me fix this?

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The first website’s meta description appears to be working as expected when I visit the link. Google might be serving outdated cache content on your end and thus you should give this some few days and check whether the same issue will be reproduced.

The second website lacks a meta description and is also optimized by Yoast and not Rank Math and thus you may need to check the SEO settings that you have configured.

The third website is displaying the page builder shortcodes on the meta description and is visible from the page source.

You can fix this by creating a manual meta description via the Rank Math metabox.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
