Hello,
Thank you so much for getting in touch.
Getting your site indexed in ChatGPT Search is quite similar to how indexing works for other search engines. While there’s no special string required specifically for ChatGPT, it’s important to allow AI crawlers (like GPTBot) in your robots.txt. Rank Math doesn’t add this automatically, but you can easily allow it by adding this line to your robots.txt:
User-agent: GPTBot
Allow: /
Also, using Rank Math’s built-in SEO tools—like schema markup, sitemaps, and content optimization—helps improve your site’s visibility across search engines and AI platforms alike.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us if you have any other questions.
So at a bit of a loss here. If I go to one of my sites for example – https://phillycasinoparties.com/robots.txt
the robots.txt file is there but when I ftp to the server the robots.txt file is not under public_html or even the root directory. Does rankmath place it elsewhere? Seems to be the same issue for all my rankmath sites.
never mind figured it out
