Hello,
I apologize for the issue you are facing with Elementor and Rank Math not detecting the changes you’ve made. It sounds like you’ve taken the right steps by clicking publish, but it seems there might be a disconnect between Elementor and Rank Math in recognizing those updates.
Here are a few things you can check:
- Ensure Elementor is Updated: Make sure that you are using the latest version of Elementor. Sometimes, compatibility issues can arise if the plugin is outdated.
- Check Rank Math Settings: Ensure that your Rank Math settings are configured correctly to detect changes made in Elementor. You can refer to the Rank Math documentation for more details on settings.
- Clear Cache: If you have any caching plugins installed, try clearing the cache. Sometimes, cached versions of your pages can prevent new changes from being displayed.
- Conflict with Other Plugins: There might be a conflict with another plugin. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.
- Check for JavaScript Errors: Open your browser’s developer tools (usually F12) and check for any JavaScript errors that might be preventing Elementor from saving changes properly.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from the Rank Math Support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!
The changes made on elementor are not saved. For example, I added alt tags for images and internal links but that’s not published.I do click publish, but it’s not updated RankMath isn’t detecting the change.Since the alt tag is appearing, it means the changes are saved. Rank math has some issue detecting them.
Hello,
Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
Please ensure that you are using the latest version of Rank Math plugin, including Elementor. If not yet, please do update them. You may refer to our changelog page here: https://rankmath.com/changelog/
If that doesn’t help, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
