Changed Permalink and now API not indexing

    Hello, previously all posts were in the API but I changed Permalink settings from post name to custom structure. Then I went to see URL status in Instant Indexing and it was giving 404 error for all the URLs. What do I have to do now to get all indexed?

    Should I delete the sitemaps from google search console and add again?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Could you please share the old and new URL samples so we can check? You can add them in the sensitive data section

    It is completely secure, and only our support staff has access to that section.

    Meanwhile, if you have changed the URL structure, then you must submit the new URLs in the Instant Indexing API.

    Also, ensure that your sitemap is already updated with the new structure. Then, you can remove all your submitted sitemaps and resubmit your main sitemap index.
