Changed parameters/algorithms?

    Dear support

    I am on the Pro version.

    Question 1: I am wondering whether you have changed some parameters/algorithms, because I can never optimize my pages to more than 80. I used easily to get them on 83, 84 or 85, so that they were in the green area, now I can only get them to the yellow area and I have not changed my practice.

    I have never scored high on density and I have never added a number to my titles. Everything else is correct.

    Question 2: Does the “SEO Analysis” analyse only the front-page or all pages/posts?

    I have read you support page explaining that after the first analysis, I should get a button named “Start Site-Wide Analysis” at the top of the page. I really don’t get that button. My button keeps having the text “Start Analysis again”.

    The reason I guess something is wrong is for example that the SEO Analysis says, that I have 53 internal links and 14 external links. But I have around 2.000 links.

    1. No, we have not changed the algorithm to calculate the SEO score. The only change we made was to the keyword density test, in version v1.0.64.

    We count the secondary focus keywords towards the keyword density.

    Do note that the scores and guidelines are just for your reference, you do not need to follow them religiously.

    2. Most of the tests are for the Homepage, but some tests like the focus keyword are for the whole website.

    The Start Site-Wide Analysis button appears when you run the SEO Analysis for the very first time or after clearing the SEO Analysis cache.

    You can clear the SEO Analysis cache by going to Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools > Clear SEO Analysis

    Once done, clear the website and browser cache and re-run the SEO Analysis.
