Category slugs changed when plug in active.

    Pages in category slugs are being changed when plug in active.

    We have a archive page for our portfolio of work which is /category/portfolio/
    Items on this archive page should direct to
    /portfolio/portfolio-item-name/
    however when rank math is active clicking on items on the archive page swaps out “portfolio” in the slug with uncategroised as per below.
    /uncategorized/portfolio-item-name/

    The posts in wordpress are only linked to the portfolio category. Uncategorized is not checked. When have turned off Rank math features one by one, however the only fix at this stage is to disable the plugin completely.

    We have disabled features in Rank Math one by one however, it remains. We have also gone to the tools menu and reset everything here including redirects with no luck.

    Could you please head over to Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Links > Strip Category Base and check to ensure that this is disabled.

    Just checked and this setting was already disabled so that’s not the issue.
