Category sitemap not loading

    Hi,
    I have updated my site structure with new categories, I have also changed my permalinks to show only the post name.

    I have turned on the Include in sitemap for categories, but it isn’t showing – I get a 404 error when I try to load the categories link.

    The pages and posts are showing (although the posts haven’t updated for an hour now)
    I have tried the steps in the guides:
    excluding my sitemap from my cache plugin
    flushing the cache
    flushing the permalinks cache

    But it’s still not working

    Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    I tested the sitemap index URL (sitemap_index.xml) and I didn’t see the category sitemap there. Please see reference image in the sensitive section. As you’ve already followed the steps that’s require to debug the sitemap issue.

    Also, I checked one category i.e. blog and it’s set to index.

    Would you please share the screenshot of the settings category sitemap in Rank Math.

    Though you have already did the test, but would you please run it once again:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
