Can’t setup meta title and description how we want

I setup brands to be Brands (using our brands plugin which adds a custom taxonomy) on the woocommerce page of your settings as instructed by your documentation.

I then search for brand and it recommends %wc_brand%. I use this but it just shows up as %Wc_brand% in the title and doesn’t work like the other % style variables.

So we thought we could do product category. But I search cat and there’s only post categories not product categories. There’s also no way to setup it using some primary product category either.
