We apologize for the issue you are facing with setting the focus keyword as a Shop Manager user role. In Rank Math, the Role Manager feature allows you to restrict access to certain functionalities based on user roles. It’s possible that the settings for the Shop Manager role do not include the capability to set focus keywords.
To resolve this, please check the Role Manager settings:
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Role Manager.
- Look for the Shop Manager role and ensure that the On-Page General Settings and Titles and Meta Settings are enabled for that role. If they are disabled, you will need to enable them to allow the Shop Manager to set focus keywords.
After making any changes, don’t forget to click the Update Capabilities button to save your settings.

There are cases in which other user roles are not able to save the changes. If that happens, you may run this link using the Shop Manager user (change the URL to your actual domain):
https://yourwebsite.com/wp-json/rankmath/v1/updateMeta
If they are getting blocked by a firewall, you may need to whitelist the IP by following this guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/meta-data-not-saving/#firewall
