Can’t install analytics code

I deactivated and removed MonsterInsights, to streamline things with one less plugin.
I then verified search console with no problem.
On the Analytics tab, I connected, and now, when I try to select profile (search) and select account (analytics) there is nothing in either drop down, and install analytics code doesn’t save.

    Please Help. Thank you!

  • Any ideas why RankMath won’t let me connect to analytics? or should I go back to MonsterInsights?

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

If you are using GA4, the property would not appear in the Rank Math analytics dropdown.

Please create a Universal Analytics property and try reconnecting again.

Are you using Firefox or Safari to save the Analytics settings?

If yes, can you please try saving the Analytics settings in Chrome?

If that does not help, try saving the settings in Incognito Mode in Chrome.

Let us know if the issue persists in Chrome.

We are here to assist you.

Not using GA4. Using Chrome. No, incognito didn’t help. I still cannot see my property to choose it from the drop downs in the analytics setup process.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the reply.

Could you please try reconnecting the Google account and see if that fixes the issue. https://i.rankmath.com/Ktocad

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.

I’ve tried reconnecting, multiple times. Tried disconnecting and reconnecting. Tried purging cache and rebuilding index per another thread that seemed similar to my dilemma. No change

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings.

Could you please add s******@r*********** as a user in your Google Analytics property so we can check this further?

We really look forward to helping you.

I’m not comfortable with handing over that much login data. I would be willing to zoom/screenshare with someone, or else I’ll just find an alternative method of analytics

    Hello,

Unfortunately, our scope of support does not extend to screen-sharing applications or via Zoom.

Let us know how you would want to continue resolving this issue.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
