Can’t find how to add noindex to feed pages

    Rank Math free

I only found your recommendations to block it in robots.txt, but this is a different thing.

Is there a way to add noindex to /feed?

    Thank you!

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Feeds are not like regular pages so you cannot noindex them. However, you can disallow them in your robots.txt file at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt like this:

    User-Agent: *
    Disallow: */feed/

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

Thank you, Reinelle, but did you even read my question? I saw this recommendation before and it’s not what I’m looking for. As you know, they are working in a different way.
I saw Yoast plugin has this feature, so I thought you also have something that can help.

    Hello,

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

Rank Math can configure the robots of pages that are registered in WordPress which are posts types (such as pages, posts, taxonomies, and CPTs). As for the case of the feed page, these pages are often generated dynamically when your website loads.

At the moment, the only way to prevent this from being indexed is through the use of robots.txt.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    thank you.
