Cant fetch sitemap on Google webmaster

    I have tried endless times and still can’t get google webmaster to accept my simple sitemap. I keep getting can’t fetch and the duplicate canonical message. The site is http://wordspiral.website and the sitemap is http://wordsprial.website/sitemap.xml The sitemap is verified and bing has successfully used it. I have a similar sitemap at wordbed.website/sitemap.xml which was submitted with no issues. But after days of going through things I still cant get Google to accept this sitemap.

    Is there any help you can offer? I am about to release an app and can’t get google include the site in their searches.

    There are just two pages at the site. Index.html and videos.html

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    The sitemap is not generated by Rank Math, it looks like there is a sitemap file in the root directory or some other plugin is generating the sitemap.

    If you are using any other sitemap plugin, please disable that.

    If you are not using any other plugin, please remove the sitemap files from the website’s root directory. Once you delete the file, Rank Math will generate the sitemap.

    Once the Rank Math sitemap is active, clear your website cache and resubmit the sitemap in the Search Console.
