So are you saying you were able to click into the snippet description field on that page and edit the contents? That is what I”m not able to do. Out of nowhere, I was able to edit the “printables blog” page which I have not been able to do before, but the free printables, printable bookmarks, printables cards and stationery – I still can’t edit the snippet description on those.
This is what continues to happen

Hello,
I’ve tried editing the description on the free printables page, but I’m also unable to replicate the issue. Please refer to the screencast attached in the sensitive data section.
Could you please try clearing your website’s cache or in a different internet browser?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
I am completely confused. I’ve cleared my cache and cookies so many times so that is not it. I tried Chrome and Edge. I still am not able to edit the snippet description for the free printables page and the other pages as noted above. My laptop is just over a year old so that’s not it. The most troubling part for me is that I am able to edit the snippet for some of my pages but not for others. That makes no sense.
Hello,
The description that you are seeing in the description box is a placeholder as it is coming from the default variable that you have selected in the Titles & Meta settings and you can’t select that. If you want to enter a new description, you can simply enter a new description and the placeholder will disappear. Here is a screencast: https://i.rankmath.com/GeHDXG
Please check and let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
