Can’t connect the plug-in.

  • The plug-in is stuck in a loop. When I click on connect, It goes it goes straight back to the dashboard without connecting. the plug-in shows up on my WordPress ADMIN menu but I don’t see any options when I hover over the name. I can’t get to the settings. I tried deleting the plug-in and reinstalling it. What’s wrong?

    I did clear my cache as you recommended but it’s not working. The plug-in is still stuck in a loop. How can we resolve this?

    For troubleshooting, please check if there’s some security rule inside your .htaccess file that may prevent saving the settings.

    You can also use the default .htaccess file from here: https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/

    Please do take a complete backup of your website before modifying your .htaccess as it is a sensitive file.

    You may also check if your website has the ModSec (ModSecurity) feature enabled on your server as it can block some process on your site.

    I replaced my.Htaccess file with the one you recommended at https://wordpress.org/support/article/htaccess/But it’s still not working the plug-in is still stuck in a loop. I can’t activate the plug-in. Maybe that’s because I’m not using multisite. How can we fix this?

    I was going to purchase your pro version of the plug-in. But now, I have lost confidence in your ability to address this problem. I didn’t receive a reply to my last Reply to the ticket. Since I can’t edit my meta descriptions, Which is vital to search engines, I had to delete your plug-in and I installed SEO press. I can finally edit my meta descriptions. Sorry but if you ever figure out a solution to my problem, I will be happy to purchase your pro version.

    Sorry for not following up quickly and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Please make sure to install the Rank Math plugin at the Network level and only activate it on the individual site. You may refer to this guide on how to properly install Rank Math on a multi-site environment: https://rankmath.com/kb/installing-rank-math-on-a-multisite-environment/

    Then, reconnect your Rank Math plugin to your Rank Math account. To do that, navigate to your WordPress admin area > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help, disconnect and reconnect your Rank Math account.
