  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with adding redirections in Rank Math. It sounds frustrating, especially after trying various troubleshooting steps.

Since you mentioned that auto redirects work but you can’t manually add any, here are a few additional suggestions:

    1. Check for JavaScript Errors: Sometimes, JavaScript errors can prevent actions from being executed in the WordPress dashboard. You can check for errors by opening your browser’s developer console (usually by pressing F12) and looking for any error messages when you try to add a redirect.

    2. Browser Cache: Clear your browser cache or try accessing your site in an incognito window to rule out any caching issues.

    3. Theme Conflict: Although you’ve disabled other plugins, sometimes the active theme can also cause conflicts. Try switching to a default WordPress theme (like Twenty Twenty-One) temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

    4. Server Configuration: Ensure that your server configuration allows for the necessary operations. Sometimes, server settings can restrict certain functionalities.

If none of these suggestions work, we recommend replying to this ticket with more details about your site setup or any error messages you might be seeing. A human agent from the Rank Math Support team will then take over and assist you further.

Thank you for your patience, and we hope to resolve this issue for you soon!

Perhaps nothing, but one recent change (besides updating Rankmath plugin) was I recently had to update to the latest version of php. Mentioning it in case it’s relevant. I’ll use dev console and see what I can find.

    Hello,

Thank you for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.

Please navigate to Rank Math → Status & Tools → Database Tools and press the “Re-create Table” button. Here’s a screenshot for your reference:

Then, check if there are other plugins or your currently active theme that is causing an issue with the redirection functionality. To troubleshoot, please follow this guide: https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

If the issue persists, we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

We’ve checked your site, and you’re using an outdated version of Rank Math PRO.

Can you please search and forward a receipt from FastSpring.com or the email address you used to purchase so we can locate your account and verify it?

To fix this, you may need to update the Rank Math PRO plugin on your site.

    Looking forward to helping you.

Thank you. I couldn’t locate the original license so I purchased it for another account and added it.

    Hello,

    Glad that helped.

If you have any other concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime so we can assist you further.

    Looking forward to helping you.
