    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

I have checked your sample post here for instance: https://yourdomain.org/aston-martin-db11 and the canonical URL that appears is for that post. Please view your page source and you will be able to verify this.

The page you referenced is simply an embedded image from the original post, thus it is seen as the same post. Therefore the canonical URL that will be referenced is for the post and not for the embedded image page. Just wondering how you were able to obtain that URL did not find it in your referer post.

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

    Thank you.

Hi Brian! I saw that urls by searching “site:mydomain.org” and then verifying that they were indexed on google search console.

I was lookinh on google if someone had the same problem and they all were from Yoast or Rank Math, so I guess that there’s something activated that creates this urls.

The problem here is that every time I create a post, a canonical url is created within a few days after.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math again.

Yea sure both Yoast and Rank Math and also most SEO plugins do add canonical URLs. However, the post URL in most cases should be the same as the canonical URL inserted by the plugin. A canonical URL is the URL of the page that Google thinks is most representative from a set of duplicate pages on your site. So if you have a duplicate page on your site, the plugin will set one URL among the two as the canonical URL for both pages. This helps Google identify that they are duplicates or that it is a section within a page.

every time I create a post, a canonical URL is created within a few days after.

No it should be created immediately after your post is published. Would you mind sharing a sample post that you have created of late to check if it has a canonical URL?

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

My most recent post has not have the /embed url yet —> https://cochesdelujo.org/lamborghini-aventador-svj-el-lamborghini-mas-rapido
I share you the “indexed, not in the sitemap” urls that has been created adn how, according to screaming frog they are canonicalised.

I guess that the canonical main page are the post itself, so I’d just want to know why this kind of url are created and indexed, since i can do nothing appart from requesting it removal. indexed, not in the sitemap /embed screaming frog

For some reason the image links were not shared, so here you got it.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

The link will be delated authomatically within 3 days, if you need some day more just let me know.

BTW, I have been talking with people who also use Rank Math and they have had to tell to the robot.txt to stop indexing urls with /embed and with /feed, equal as me.

I hope you can solve it because despite this, I think Rank Math is the best SEO plugin with no doubt.

    Thanks in advance!

Btw x 2, it’s my main wp, not an staging, I have done a back up, nevertheless if you want to manipulate some code or something just let me know and I will provide you some staging environment.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math again.

Your embed links here seem to be coming from embedding posts from the WP block editor here:https://i.rankmath.com/sLYSSW. However, would like to refer to the images that you had linked previously. They do seem to have been deleted now, would you mind updating them?

We really look forward to helping you.

    Thank you.
