hello.
I’m running a Korean website and I’m using permalinks written in Korean.
The URL in Korean is automatically encoded as follows.
From
https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/워드프레스To
https://ko.wikipedia.org/wiki/%EC%9B%8C%EB%93%9C%ED%94%84%EB%A0%88%EC%8A%A4However, the canonical URLs that RankMath automatically assigns are only encoded in the lowercase.
So, there is a difference between the actual encoded URL and the canonical URL in uppercase and lowercase letters.
I noticed this issue when I tagged it with Hreflang.
From what I understand, uppercase and lowercase URLs are different in SEO, so is it okay for me to leave this issue alone?
Or is there any way to change the canonical URL to lowercase?
Thanks.
