We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

We really look forward to helping you.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.
After checking your website, I have fixed it for you. Now the canonical for the homepage is as it had to be.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I can see its still /. ??
Also there is / in search preview and mobile search preview as well….
Can i know what exactly was the problem so next time i will not repeat?
Hello,
I have attached an image to the Sensitive Data section so you can see how it displays fine in our browsers.
If you can’t see it, you should clean the browser cache:
Windows: Ctrl + F5
Mac/Apple: Apple + R or command + R
Linux: F5
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hello,
“Can i know what exactly was the problem so next time i will not repeat?”
It was just a plugin conflict problem. I disabled the Autoptimize plugin, removed the Rank Math plugin and installed it again. After that, I enabled the Autoptimize plugin and emptied the cache and everything was working fine then.
Thank you.

Hello,

Please check when the Google cache for that page:
a.
b.
Since the cache date is from before adding the new canonical, then you just have to wait for Google to re-crawl and re-index the page with the new info.
Once Google re-index your page, the search preview should have the right canonical, since it is already fine on the page source code.
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
