Hello, I apologize for the inconvenience you’re facing. To set up canonical URLs for your home page and archive pages in Rank Math, you can follow these steps:
- Go to the post or page you want to set the canonical URL for.
- Scroll down to the Advanced tab in the Rank Math meta box.
- In the Canonical URL field, you can change the canonical URL to point to the main source of your content.
Here’s an example of how you can set up canonical URLs for your specific cases:
- For the home page: You can set the canonical URL for
https://www.yourwebsite.com/tag/product-1/
to https://www.yourwebsite.com/tag/product-1/
- For archive pages like
https://www.yourwebsite.com/tag/product-1/
you can set the canonical URL to https://www.yourwebsite.com/tag/product-1/
After setting the canonical URLs, remember to update the page as you normally would after making a change or click Publish if it is a newly created page.
If you have any further questions or need assistance with this process, please feel free to reach out to our support team here. We’re here to help!
