Rank Math free

Good afternoon! I used to use another SEO plugin, canonical links worked there. I installed rank math and canonical links are gone. Why are they not displayed by default? They can only be used if they are not true. Can they only be added manually?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Most likely you’ve checked the Search engine visibility option at WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Reading. Which is why your entire site is set to noindex.

Rank Math doesn’t add canonical to pages with noindex tag, since pages with noindex tag are not meant to be indexed and canonical is not necessary for that.

To have canonical, please uncheck the box Search engine visibility, and flush the site cache and self-referencing canonical should be added automatically after that.
