The issue on your website was caused by the customized rules on your .htaccess file.
We used a default one to activate the website and the process went through without any issues. After that, we added your custom file back again.

Can you tell me which rules/plugin caused the issues? I have another site that I might connect and it has the same settings and plugins installed?

Due to the sheer amount of rules in the file, we didn’t test any in isolation but rather we replaced it completely with the default one.
Having said that, we did notice that the last rule involved some redirects on your domain and that might be the one causing this, but as is true in every case, it’s always best to test one by one until finding the culprit.
