Assuming you’ll have the staging website on WordPress, sure, you can install Rank Math (PRO) on the staging website, and pushing it to the production website would not affect the optimizations that you would have made.
Just as a precautionary measure, if you’ll create redirections on the staging website, after pushing the website to production, please check the redirections to ensure that they’re working correctly.

I just want to be sure so I do not mess up anything. The new site is on WordPress.
One other question I have because I went back and fourth with Yoast with this before I choose to use RankMath.
We have all out analytics and other code in Google Tag manager currently. We do this because we have a lot of analytic code and it’s obviously way easier to add it with one set of code like Tag Manager allows. I do use RankMath personally as well so I know how to set it up and use it a little.
Anyhow, since you have to add our Google Analytics when you set up RankMath would it be good to remove the Google Analytics tag out of the Tag Manager code before setting up RankMath?
What plan do I need for our company? Eventually we will have about 9-12 sites using the Pro plugin.

Next, if you already have Google Analytics code set up on your site using a plugin, then you don’t need to enable the “install analytics code” option inside Rank Math.

The PRO version of Rank Math is suitable for small businesses that do not need to manage client websites. The PRO version of Rank Math comes with a total of 500 tracked keywords, whereas the Business subscription gets 10,000 keywords.
You can manage up to 100 client and personal websites with the Business subscription and on the other hand with the PRO subscription of Rank Math, you can add unlimited personal websites but client websites cannot be added.
