Hello,
Thank you for contacting the support and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
The option seems to work fine from my end. Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.
To determine that, please follow this troubleshooting guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/check-plugin-conflicts/
Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.
Please let us know if you find the culprit else we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hi,
I wanted to add that I tried that blog post but it is throwing a 404 error:
http://cwordsworth.com/april-birthstone/
Please share the correct URL so we can check and also follow my colleague reply above.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
I am not sure if I am not understanding the issue but I have just checked the post you shared and in the Rank Math settings it is set as no-follow and inside the source code of that post, it is also set as no-follow. Could you check it?
I have also added a screencast in the Sensitive Data section.
Looking forward to help you.
i dont understand, the post i set at “no follow” , yes, but the links are “do follow and no opener”, right? maybe i am wrong?
Hello,
The nofollow option under posts and in Rank math > Titles & Meta adds the nofollow to the page/posts robots meta.
To add the nofollow to external links on your page/post, you need to enable the nofollow option in Rank math > General Settings > Links. I enabled this on your site and the nofollow is added to the links:
Hope that helps. If you have any further question(s), please let us know. Thank you.
