    Hi there,

We use a reverse proxy with our WP site – is there a way for me to get the sitemap working with the reverse proxied address?

    Thanks,

    George

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting us.

Could you please confirm if you’ve followed this guide and the sitemaps are not working?
    https://rankmath.com/kb/configure-sitemaps/

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thank you.

    Hi!

I did – it’s a little bit of a complex setup in our case.

Our site is hosted at http://www.creative-station.co.uk but only accessible to the public through http://www.bakerross.co.uk/craft-ideas/. We’d like the sitemap to reflect that (so links would be for http://www.bakerross.co.uk/craft-ideas/) and I was wondering how we set that up.

    Thanks,

    George

    Hello,

I accessed the sitemap URL on your public website (/craft-ideas/) and it is showing a blank page. However, the data is present in the page source. Here’s a screenshot: https://i.rankmath.com/Wahhxt

In this case, please follow the below steps and see if that fixes the issue:
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

Let us know how that goes.

    Thank you.

    Thanks Prabhat!

I see that, however in your screenshot the post urls in the sitemap are for creative-station.co.uk and we’d like them to be our public urls instead. That’s the real issue I’m trying to fix.

    Thanks,
    George

    Hello,

We use the default get_permalink() function from WordPress and whatever is returned there for the domain that’s what we use. If the function is returning the URLs with the main domain then there is no way to replace them with the URLs with another domain.

    Hope this clarifies your doubts.

Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistance.

    Thanks.
