I really would like guidance on how to change the primary category in bulk on hundreds of posts.
BTW the problem has happened because in your support pages on setting a primary category nowhere do you explain what a primary category is or should be, or what the best practice is in choosing what category should be primary. I interpreted it as it should be the ‘overarching’ category when in fact I have now been informed it should be the most ‘niched down’ category. Might be helpful to update your support pages on this.

We have the CSV method to update the Primary Term in bulk, but this option is only available in the PRO version of the plugin.
