Dear RankMath support team,
I would be glad if you could look into this issue.
Thanks
Alex
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
Yes, Rank Math automatically adds the breadcrumbs to the Schema markup, you don’t need to worry about it (just beware, I saw you have another Structured data plugin and even with your theme and it could cause Schema conflicts).
I checked the theme code and it is complex so meanwhile we could try and test where it should go, our recommendation is to contact their support team and ask them this exact question, letting them know where you want to set the Rank Math breadcrumbs and the code you want to add there.
Also, it will help since they might think to add support for the Rank Math breadcrumbs automatically in a future update, so it is worth to try.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi Alberto,
I managed to put the breadcrumbs where I wanted in the Enfold theme.
I do wonder however, why the Schema is not applied to RankMath breadcrumbs. I have disabled every other’s plugin breadcrumbs schema.
Could you please take a look why this happens?
Thank you,
Alex
Hello,
Thank you for the follow up.
Rank math schema module seems to be conflicting with the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP
plugin. Please enable only one schema plugin on your site. If you wish to use a third party plugin, please disable Rank math schema module in Rank math dashboard.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
I have now completely deactivated the Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP
plugin. However, still no Schema is added to the RankMath breadcrumbs.
Could you please look into this again?
Thanks
Alex
Hello,
I tested one of your URLs on Google Rich results test tool: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results and the breadcrumbs seem to be added successfully. Please check the screenshot I have added in the sensitive section.
Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
Hi Michael,
this is strange since the plugin Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP
is deactivated. Do you have any idea how this schema information is created?
In addition Google has found multiple rich snippet elements in the Articles section (which is great btw :-)
).
Are these rich data elements created by RankMath or where do they come from?
Thanks,
Alex
Hello,
I have checked now and it seems your breadcrumbs are displaying the right Schema. About the others Schemas added, they are also added by Rank Math.
Looking forward to help you.
Thank you, Alberto. This is great news.
Does RankMath support the FAQ
and HowTo
rich snippet Schemas as well?
If yes: How can they be added? If no: What would be your recommendation for an alternative way to add these Schema types?
Hello,
Yes, Rank Math supports both of them. I will share two official guides that explain it with a lot of detail:
Looking forward to help you.
Hi Alberto,
I checked the guides you recommended. Unfortunately, I can’t (i.e. don’t want) to use the block editor because the Enfold theme works much better with the WP classic editor
.
Is there a way to use the WP classic editor instead of the block editor to insert FAQ and How-To blocks?
Thanks
Alex
Hello,
Unfortunately, our FAQ and How-To blocks only work (for now) in the Gutenberg editor. We would like to add new features and this one could be a really interesting one, but for now, we don’t support those blocks in another editor.
Looking forward to help you.
