Breadcrumbs in AstraChild

    Hi,

    Apologies if this seems like a stupid question but I can’t seem to find the answer on google.

    My wordpress site has the astrachild theme and is hosted on siteground.

    I’ve enabled Breadcrumbs in RankMath Settings and in the Customize settings of AstraChild theme, but breadcrumbs are not displaying anywhere on my site.

    I tried to paste the snippet for rankmath breadcrumbs as per rankmath support questions into the theme editor but wherever I placed it, breadcrumbs still didn’t display on my site

    Could you please tell me where in AstraChild Theme Editor I need to paste it and anything else I need to do to have breadcrumbs display?

    Any help would be massively appreciated!

    Have you check out this article by Astra? (https://wpastra.com/docs/add-breadcrumbs-with-astra/)

    You might need to follow these steps in order to display RankMath breadcrumb:
    Install and Activate the Rank Math Plugin
    Set Breadcrumbs through Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Breadcrumbs
    You will see an option in the Customizer > Breadcrumb > Breadcrumb Source. Select Rank Math.
    Now Rank Math markup will start appearing on the pages instead of the default Astra Breadcrumb.
    All Color and Typography options from the customizer will override the styling of Rank Math.
    All options to disable breadcrumb on specific locations will also work with the Rank Math plugin.

    The screenshot you shared is of the style.css file but the PHP code for breadcrumbs goes into the theme’s single.php and page.php files.
