Breadcrumbs bug

#992761
  • Hello, your breadcrumbs feature does not show the parent categories even if the “Show Category(s)” checkbox is enabled. The default breadcrumbs source for my theme does it correctly so I could use that. But the formatting of your breadcrumbs is so much nicer so it would be great if it functioned correctly.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the breadcrumbs feature not displaying the parent categories correctly. It seems that even with the "Show Category(s)" option enabled, the expected behavior is not occurring on your site.

To troubleshoot this issue, please ensure that:

    1. You have set the primary category correctly for your posts, as this can affect how breadcrumbs are displayed.
    2. There are no other plugins or theme settings conflicting with Rank Math’s breadcrumbs feature.
    3. You have added the breadcrumbs code to your theme if it does not support it natively.

If everything seems correct and the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with any additional details or screenshots of your settings, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!

    Hello,

Please ensure that you have already selected the Categories as Primary Taxonomy on Rank Math > Titles & Meta > [Post Type]

Also, you should mark the “Vitamin B” as the primary category of that post while editing
