Hello,
We apologize for the issue you are facing with the breadcrumb itemListElement missing. To ensure that the itemListElement property is correctly added, please follow these steps:
-
Enable Breadcrumbs: Go to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Breadcrumbs and make sure the breadcrumbs function is enabled.

-
Add Breadcrumbs to Your Template: You need to add the following code snippet to your theme’s template file (like single.php
or header.php
):
Alternatively, you can use the shortcode:
[rank_math_breadcrumb]

-
Check Schema Settings: Ensure that the Schema module is enabled in Rank Math. This is crucial for adding the Breadcrumb Schema that includes the itemListElement.

-
Save Changes: After making these changes, don’t forget to click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the settings page.

If you have followed these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and provide more specific help.

I am having the same problem. I’ve followed the steps above to make sure I had done it correctly. My website is https://kelliejoart.com. I get this error:
Unnamed item
Missing field “itemListElement”
type: BreadcrumbList
id: https://kelliejoart.com/guardian-art-doll/#breadcrumb (but it shows on other product pages too)
I don’t know how to troubleshoot it further. Please help.
Never mind. In SEO Settings, Bread crumbs, I turned off the “Do not show title” option. Now the schema passes.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.
The page I was testing was https://kelliejoart.com/guardian-art-doll/. I’d prefer to not have the title showing in the breadcrumb list, so if you figure something out, please let me know. 🙂
Hello,
The title is added in the breadcrumbs.
Please enable the “Do not show title” option so we can check the issue further.
Looking forward to helping you.
