Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with your sitemap appearing blank. Since you mentioned that the source code shows data but the front end is blank, this could be due to caching issues or a conflict with another plugin or theme.
Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this:
-
Flush the Sitemap Cache: Make sure to flush the cache for your sitemaps. You can find instructions on how to do this in our tutorial on excluding sitemaps from caching.
-
Check for Plugin Conflicts: Use the Health Check plugin to identify if there is a conflict with another plugin or theme that might be causing the issue.
-
Static File Conflict: Ensure that there is no static file named _sitemap_index.xml on your server that could be conflicting with the sitemap generated by Rank Math. You can check this via FTP and remove any such file if it exists.
If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

It still isn’t working. I have already done that. If I activate the competitor’s SEO plugin and access the sitemap, which is the same URL, the competitor’s sitemap works. Therefore, I don’t understand the error, but the sitemap works in other plugins. However, in Rank Math, it remains blank, and I’m already desperate.
I’ve followed all the tutorials, and it’s still not working; the screen appears blank. I’m starting to think it’s an issue with the latest updates, which broke the plugin. I’ve even deleted and reinstalled the plugin, but the error persists, so the problem seems to lie with the plugin itself
Hello,
Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
This issue is occurring because on your database entries, there are some Unicode characters that are preventing the sitemap from correctly loading.
Please access your WordPress database and check the table wp_options. You’ll notice entries like blogname with Unicode characters instead of the correct characters in there.
To be more specific, you may take a look if you find a similar entry like Análisis in the option_value column. Here is an example below for your reference:

Please try to replace this entry with Análisis, and then the sitemap should start working fine again.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Thank you so much! That was indeed the problem, as in Spain we use accents, that is, special characters on the vowels for intonation when reading. It was not necessary to go to the database; I just went to Settings/General and changed the word “análisis” to “analisis,” and it worked perfectly. In future updates, it would be good to fix this issue, as I spent many hours trying to find the error and couldn’t. Best regards!
