Based on which data are the products listed in the LLMS file

#1085129
  • Hello Rank Math Support,

I’m generating an LLMs file for my webshop using Rank Math.
Could you clarify what data or criteria are used to determine which products are included in this file?
    For example:

Are only products with a certain status (published, in stock) included?

Does it use fields from WooCommerce (such as price, stock, product category) or also custom fields?

I’ve noticed that my most important products are not included in the file. (They are currently out of stock — could this be the reason?)

Are there any filters or conditions that Rank Math applies by default?

I’d like to better understand the source data Rank Math uses to generate the LLMs file.

    Thank you in advance!

    Kind regards,
    [Your Name]

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the LLMs file generation for your webshop using Rank Math. Thank you for raising this concern.

When generating an LLMs file, Rank Math typically includes products based on certain criteria:

    1. Product Status: Only products that are published and visible to the public are included. If a product is out of stock, it may not be included in the file, depending on your settings.

    2. Stock Status: Products that are in stock are generally prioritized. If your important products are currently out of stock, this could indeed be a reason why they are not appearing in the LLMs file.

    3. WooCommerce Fields: Rank Math uses standard WooCommerce fields such as price, stock status, product category, and other relevant product data. Custom fields may also be included if they are properly configured within WooCommerce and Rank Math.

    4. Default Filters: Rank Math applies default filters to ensure that only relevant products are included in the LLMs file. This may include filtering out products that are not in stock or not set to be visible.

To better understand the specific conditions affecting your products, we recommend checking your WooCommerce settings and ensuring that the products you want to include are published and in stock.
