Bad SEO page descriptions, bad site title and bad homepage title

#930248
  • Hi, I’m solving 3 problems on my site and actually out of all the sites where I use RANK MATH, they are only happening with this site.

    1. Rank Math – Titles / metadata – I have the schema for the site fixed here as %title% | KERASHIELD, but in the serp all results are displayed as: %title%

    2. The homepage has its own long title Autodetailing Services and Professional Autodetailing, then directly in the WordPress settings the site name is set to KERASHIELD. In the SERP, the homepage is called kerashield. It is written in lowercase and it does not use that long name at all that the page normally has.

    3. In the SERP, for each subpage, the site name + the basic url of the site is visible, the site name is again in lower case instead of upper case…. I am solving this only for this site, everywhere else it works perfectly OK.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

Could you please share the affected website URL so we can check?

Meanwhile, Google uses a machine learning algorithm to generate the Sitename for your pages based on other information it has collected about your website and your industry.

Here’s a link for more information:

    Looking forward to helping you.

Accidentaly clicked checkbox – “resolved” 🙂

I check link from you, I have everything setted correctly… 🙂

    Hello,

We’ve checked your site, and the sitename KERASHIELD is already added in the Opengraph meta tags and in the schema.

In this case, it is completely up to Google, and even if your site has followed all the guidelines, they can still decide to show a different or no site name. You should keep working on improving your site’s content quality and authority to increase the chances of your site name appearing in the SERPs.

Moreover, we would suggest to keep on mentioning the desired title on both the title of the page and the schema structure (which our plugin automatically adds after configuring the Local SEO settings in Rank Math > Titles & Meta).

    Looking forward to helping you.
