  • Hello,

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing an issue with the SEO score recalculation. The "Bad Request" error typically indicates that there is a problem with the request being sent to the server, which could be due to various reasons such as malformed request syntax or issues with server configuration.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Website Status: Ensure that your website is not under maintenance or facing downtime, as this can lead to a "Bad Request" error.

    2. API Timeout: Sometimes, the server may take too long to respond, leading to a timeout. Ensure your server is configured to handle requests efficiently.

    3. Firewall Settings: If you have a firewall or security plugin installed, it might be blocking the API requests from Rank Math. You may need to whitelist Rank Math’s API endpoints in your firewall settings.

    4. Inspect Server Logs: Check your server logs for any additional error messages that might provide more context on why the request failed.

    5. Recalculate Scores Again: After checking the above points, try recalculating the SEO scores again to see if the issue persists.

If the problem continues, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

    Hello,

Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that this may have caused you.

You can continue the setup by skipping the importing process. After that, please try reimporting the data in Rank Math > Status & Tools > Import & Export > Other Plugins. Then under the plugin (Yoast) column, uncheck the Calculate SEO Scores option, and click the Import button.

Please note that some options are only available in Advanced Mode. If you are not able to find the Import & Export option, please try to switch to Advanced Mode: https://rankmath.com/kb/advanced-mode/

Once the import process is done, you can recalculate the scores by following the steps from this link:
