The best way to prevent Google from crawling the Related Products section is to set nofollow tag to the section on that page. However, if you’ve a large volume of product pages, I can understand that setting up nofollow individually to Related Products section on those pages is tough. In this case, you can ask the plugin author (that is responsible to show the related products) to find a way for you to set the section to nofollow for all product pages.

It’s a great plugin and does whats it is supposed to do and only that. That i love.
Is there any alternative to this related products plugin that you and RankMath know about that has “nofollow tag” in the related products section?

Hello,
In order to exclude a certain section from a page from being crawled or indexed you have to set a nofollow tag in the hyperlinks.
This will allow Google to ignore crawling on those links.

Thank you for sharing the plugin link. I checked their plugin demo to better understand your issue.
Rank Math cannot access the links generated by the Related Products for WooCommerce plugin. That said, if the product pages linked to in the related products section are pages you want to be found in search results (set to index), there is no need to set the links to ‘nofollow’ as this will minimize the chance of the linked product pages being indexed. You may have to contact the Related Products plugin support for help setting the links to nofollow.

Rank Math can only add nofollow tags to links added within the main content editor of a post/product. Rank Math cannot automatically add nofollow to all the links on your website. That said, it is a bad idea to automatically set URLs to noindex as you may block some that need to be indexed.
