Hi, I use Polylang with subdomain configuration, when I changed my permalink, Rank math will auto redirect all post languages to destination url.
Example:Source url: https://kuegy.com/android/whatsapp-plus
destination url : https://kuegy.com/android/whatsapp-messenger/whatsapp-plusEnglish language URL that also redirected:
https://en.kuegy.com/android/whatsapp-plus

Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and sorry for the unexpected delays and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress login in the designated Sensitive Data section.
Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/
We really look forward to helping you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Please make sure you update the Polylang PRO plugin to the latest version which has some improvements to redirections and could help resolve this issue.
If that doesn’t help, do let us know and we’ll continue debugging the situation further.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Thank you for your reply!
But Polylang has nothing to do with the problem.
If you check the page header, you will notice that the redirection is done by RankMath.
x-redirect-by: Rank Math
The reason for the problem is that the Source URLs fetch the home_url automatically, this will redirect the post with all subdomain languages using the current domain , but if the redirection is done using the full url path like destination url, the problem will be solved.Hello,
We have seen the header showing our plugin but when checking for conflicts between our plugin and the implementation of other plugins we always need to first make sure that both are updated to the latest version to prevent any legacy code causing this.
So, we recommend updating the plugin to the latest version first, and then if the issue persists renew the login link so we can check exactly what is causing the issue.
Regarding the redirection, you are correct in assuming that our redirections are always relative and we take the domain from the website automatically.
This is done to prevent the website from becoming inaccessible if there’s a mistake in the redirection you are adding.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
We already updated the plugin to latest version and extend login expiry.
The main problem is because you get the domain automatically, then if you viewed the post with any other language you will force redirected to main language post, all post versions will redirected to one page!
I hope you find a suitable solution.
Thank youHello,
When we check the redirection now that the plugin is updated to the latest version we see it being triggered by WordPress and not our plugin:
This could be because of the automatic redirection to the canonical version of the pages built into the core of WordPress.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
My problem isnt on this url you checked!
please check this link:
https://en.kuegy.com/android/whatsapp-plus
you will see x-redirect-by: Rank Math
we not make a redirection for this link! but we redirect the main post :
https://kuegy.com/android/whatsapp-plusAgain! the problem is the rank math plugin redirect en, fr and all languages.
Hello,
This was explained earlier when we mentioned that the redirections from our plugin are relative and we don’t take the domain into consideration, not even the subdomain.
We also explained the decision behind this done by our team and we cannot change that behavior unless we go in a completely different direction with our Redirections module.
In this case, the only way around it would be to add the redirections in your server configuration file.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any other questions.
Ok! but this is a bug, Rank math redirection not fully supported for multilingual sites, subdomain specifically.
Thank you!Hello,
This isn’t a bug but the intended behavior of the plugin. However, it can cause some issues in a specific case like yours when using the subdomains for the translated versions. For now, we will recommend using some other redirection plugin or server configuration file for the redirections.
We will let you know if we ever decide to make changes to the Redirections module or if we find a workaround for the cases like this.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need any other assistance.
Hello,
Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.
If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.
Thank you.
