When %excerpt% option is used, we pick up the very first paragraph and use that as the meta description. Since the very first thing you are using is a video, that is what is getting picked up and used as your meta description.
You can use a custom meta description in such cases:

Really?! If you check the post content there is 5-6 text line top of the video!
Yoast gets the description well. but rank math just recognize english words
It seems Rank math has a problem with embed tag!
when a post has an embed tag, on the description, it shows embed tag only(in my case the video URL)!
But when a post has not an embed tag it can recognize post content’s text
I update sensitive option please check it.
By the way, I have 45k post, I don’t think custom meta tag(the way you mentioned!) its a good idea
I didnot have problem with yoast before. I guess Rank Math should thing about this problem.

all my google index(with Yoast) were in ruins by rank math!
the only thing which I get it is before a new post published, on the preview rank math box, on the auto-generated meta description it shows Farsi word well.
but as soon as I press the publish button, it just recognizes video URL as auto-generated meta description.
definitely rank math has an important bug in this case.

If there is content before the video embed then the content should be added as the description meta, I have tested this from my test site.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

thanks for your reply. I don’t have a TinyMCE plugin. but I have the folder with this name on the theme folder. I commented on its own function. but nothing has changed.
